Complementary Therapies

SolarisCare Cancer Support Centre
Complementary therapies are those treatments and supportive care given alongside the mainstream cancer treatments of surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy. These include massages, reiki, reflexology and pranic healing. Many complementary therapies are traditionally accepted by doctors because they can help people feel better and cope better with their mainstream cancer treatment.

Encore - After breast cancer gentle exercise program

YWCA Encore is an 8 week program designed specifically for women who have experienced breast cancer at any time in their life.  Incorporating gentle exercises, relaxation techniques, information and support, it is safe fun and therapeutic.

The exercise program id specifically designed to target areas that have been affected by breast cancer surgery and treatment.

Participation is free, is by enrolment only, and medical approval is required.
