Founded in 2000 as Breast Cancer Care WA, we’ve provided specialist support to men and women affected by breast cancer – including the partners and families – completely free of charge. This means specialist breast care nursing, counselling, and wellbeing support – right across WA.
We do not receive government funding, so our support comes entirely from our generous supporters – people like you.
Our purpose is to reduce the impact on those affected by breast cancer by providing specialist support services.
Our vision is to be everyone’s breast cancer support service.

Dr Ros Worthington’s drive and determination to champion causes and be a voice for the voiceless knows no bounds. Ros has clawed her way back from the brink of many adversities and she stands where she is today – as a charity powerhouse, unique social philanthropist and respected female role model – because of her inspiring ability to turn pain into power.
Breast Cancer Care WA is committed to walking together with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples with respect, humility and shared purpose. Through meaningful collaboration, truth-telling and culturally safe care, we strengthen our relationships and specialist services while creating pathways toward a more equitable health future. We strive to ensure that every person and community across Western Australia feels supported and empowered throughout their breast cancer experience.
