Counselling

Specialist counsellors providing mental health support to clients and their families

Helping to manage uncertainty

Our team of professional counsellors offers support from initial diagnosis, right through treatment and beyond. Working collaboratively with our specialist breast care nurses, our counsellors are available to clients and their caregivers.

Counselling gives people the opportunity to explore challenges, identify strengths, build resilience, and express emotion. Counsellors endeavour to provide a safe and confidential space for authentic discussion of your unique experience.

Often talking to somebody outside your immediate circle of friends and family gives you the space to explore issues that you feel are impacting on you and those around you. We can look at strategies to get you through the day or to discuss your plans for the future and how you might communicate with others.

Counselling is available via face-to-face appointments, telephone appointments, or video conferencing. Home and hospital visits are possible according to need.

A space to talk

Our counsellors can help with:

  • exploring with body image and sexuality issues.

Our counsellors provide face-to-face and telehealth counselling. They also facilitate monthly support groups and offer regular therapeutic workshops.
