Why give regularly?

Monthly giving is a powerful, ongoing way to support people facing breast cancer in Western Australia.

When someone is faced with a breast cancer diagnosis, it doesn’t just impact their health – it disrupts every part of their life. It can mean months of treatment, lost income, rising bills and the emotional toll of holding a family together through uncertainty.

Regular donations make a meaningful difference.

For as little as the cost of a coffee a week, you’ll help to provide reliable, ongoing support for people navigating breast cancer, throughout their diagnosis, treatment and beyond.

  • navigate health services
  • make informed decisions
  • communicate and liaise with their health care team
  • access evidence-based information and resources.

Our team includes specialist metastatic breast care nurses.

Counselling

Our specialist counsellors offer emotional support and help with:

  • managing fear, anxiety and sadness
  • difficulties making decisions
  • relationships with children, family and friends
  • body image and sexuality
  • developing practical coping strategies
  • facilitating evidence-based workshops.

Financial and practical support

For those experiencing financial hardship, support is available to help with utility bills, fuel or groceries.

We can also arrange transport to and from essential appointments, cleaning and gardening, and can refer clients to community-based services for additional support.

We're in your local community

You may have seen our Breast Cancer Care WA fundraisers out and about in your local community. They are dressed in our purple logo polo and carry a photo ID badge.

They would love to share what we do, how you can get involved and the impact you can have on the lives of those impacted by breast cancer.

How your donations help WA families

Your generosity enables us to provide specialist breast care nursing, mental health support, financial assistance and practical support to more than 1,800 people and families a year – free of charge.

On behalf of our clients and staff, thank you for choosing to make a difference.

Yes. When you sign up to monthly giving through a fundraiser on the ground, Breast Cancer Care WA received the entire donation. Our face-to-face partners receive a one-off service fee from Breast Cancer Care WA for each donor recruited on our behalf. This fee is paid out of a pre-allocated budget. It does not come out of the individual’s donation.

Fundraising within shopping centres is one of the most effective and cost-efficient ways for charities to connect with the public to raise awareness and fundraise for the services we provide. We receive no government and rely on the generosity of people within the community. All donations raised stay within WA and help those facing breast cancer.
